Woomera Therapeutics Inc. is delighted to offer for sale rabbit and mouse polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies that were generated by Dr. William G. North, Professor of Physiology and Neurobiology at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth (formerly Dartmouth Medical School). North was a recognized leader in the field of vasopressin and oxytocin research and these antibodies have been use in many published articles by him and others. These long-sought after antibodies have been stored at -80⁰C for several years and recent tests performed by us have shown that they have retained all of their original potency and specificity. They remain the very best available for immunohistochemistry, immunocytometry, RIA, ELISA, Western Analysis, confocal microscopy, and Flow Cytometry. They were shown to generate the most sensitive and specific RIAs for vasopressin-related and oxytocin-related substances (vasopressin, oxytocin, neurophysins, and copeptins). Immunofluorescence with available rat vasopressin-related neurophysin and rat oxytocin-related antibodies on formalin-fixed rat hypothalamus sections of 4 microns are illustrated below. These antibodies react equally well with mouse neurophysins.
