This is an antibody preparation generated in rabbit by Dr. William North Professor of Physiology and Neurobiology of Dartmouth Medical School (now Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College) using vasopressin associated rat neurophysin protein purified by preparative electrophoresis as antigen.

Specificity:  Less than 1% cross-reactivity with Rat and Mouse Neurophysins 2 and 3 (Oxytocin-Associated Rat Neurophysins, OT-RNP), and 100% cross-reaction with rat Neurophysin 3 (OT-RNP’) and with Mouse Vasopressin-Associated Neurophysin.
